According to Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the Processing of Personal Data, as amended, and in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Protection of Natural Persons with Regard to the Processing of Personal Data and on the Free Movement of Such Data ("GDPR") and related legal regulations, this Privacy Statement informs you about the processing of your personal data by our company.

Company The controller of your personal data is KLV GROUP a.s., Company ID: 09506888, with registered office at Plzeňská 3350/18, Smíchov, 150 00 Prague, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. B25670 (hereinafter referred to as "Company"), primarily engaged in brokerage services.

The Company may act as a controller or a processor in the processing of personal data.

  1. Type and Source of Personal Data Processed by the Company We process personal data primarily to prepare or fulfill contractual and legal obligations arising from our activities to provide services to our clients. When the Company processes personal data as a processor, the respective controller defines the purposes and means of processing. Processing includes collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination, or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction of personal data.

Personal data processed by us is primarily obtained directly from our clients during the provision of services or monitoring their activities on our website. We may also process personal data lawfully obtained from publicly available sources (e.g., commercial register or other registers).

  1. Purposes and Legal Grounds of Data Processing by the Company as Controller When acting as a data controller, we process personal data strictly for lawful purposes in compliance with applicable legal regulations.

3.1. Processing Personal Data to Fulfill Contractual Obligations We process personal data to fulfill contractual obligations towards our clients or implement pre-contractual measures upon client request. Personal data processed for this purpose primarily include contact details such as name, surname, address, phone number, email address, and bank details.

3.2. Processing Personal Data to Protect Legitimate Interests We also process personal data to protect the legitimate interests of the Company. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Customer care and handling complaints;

  • Measures to improve our services and strengthen relationships with clients, e.g., customer surveys, website content improvements, and website traffic measurement;

  • Protection of the Company's rights in potential legal disputes;

  • Ensuring Company security.

For these purposes, we process all available personal data, including contact details and cookie-related data.

3.3. Processing Personal Data Based on Your Consent We process your personal data based on your explicit consent. You may withdraw consent anytime. However, processing conducted before withdrawal remains lawful.

3.4. Processing Personal Data to Fulfill Legal Obligations Certain personal data must be processed to comply with legal obligations under Czech and European laws, including obligations related to data retention, reporting, and control by relevant authorities.

3.5. Change of Purpose Information If we process your personal data for a new purpose different from the original one, we will inform you in compliance with legal regulations.

  1. Purposes of Processing by the Company as Data Processor When acting as a processor, the purposes and means of processing your personal data are determined by the respective controller. The Company ensures high data protection standards and transparency.

  2. Recipients of Your Data Personal data may be disclosed to third parties acting as processors, such as external suppliers, technology providers, and necessary legal or tax advisors. We will also disclose your data if legally required or upon your explicit consent.

  3. Transfer to Third Countries or International Organizations Your data is not transferred to countries without an adequate data protection level (third countries).

  4. Retention Periods Personal data is retained only for the period necessary to fulfill contractual obligations. After this, data is deleted unless required to be retained by legal obligations or to protect Company interests. Retention periods are determined based on legal requirements and practical necessity related to litigation risks and security concerns.

  5. Obligation to Provide Personal Data Providing personal data is generally voluntary. However, certain data provision is mandatory for service usage. If a legal obligation exists, you will be informed accordingly.

  6. Automated Decision-Making and Profiling We do not use automated decision-making or profiling processes as defined by GDPR Article 22.

  7. Cookies and Website Analytics Cookies are small data files placed in the browsers of visitors to the Company's website, used to enhance site functionality, evaluate traffic, and optimize marketing activities. Cookies do not enable personal identification.

  8. Use of Social Plugins Our website includes social plugins managed by third parties, enabling visitors to share content:

  • Facebook plugin managed by Meta Platforms, Inc., USA;

  • Instagram plugin managed by Meta Platforms, Inc., USA;

  • LinkedIn plugin managed by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Ireland.

The Company is not responsible for personal data processing by these plugin operators.

Your Rights Regarding Personal Data Processing Under GDPR, you have rights regarding personal data processing, including the right to information, access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, uoou.cz).

Requests will be addressed promptly, typically within one month, extendable by two months if necessary. Unreasonable or repetitive requests may incur administrative fees or be rejected. The Company may verify your identity when necessary.

You may withdraw your consent anytime without affecting previous lawful processing.
